Set along the ridge overlooking Aspen Highlands and Maroon Bells, this Colorado vacation house is perfectly tailored for large family gatherings and holidays. Crafted of native farmer’s stone, the house is large but nestled discreetly amid spruce, firs, and of course aspens. The stone of the exterior is repeated in the four interior fireplaces, setting the stage for earth tones throughout. Two facing sofas, deep and luxurious for lounging, are set along the window wall and anchor the living room’s thirty-foot tall peaked ceiling. A custom-designed leather day bed on axis with the front door defines the two more intimate areas without restricting long views out. The house features three master suites, each with its own personality, furnishings and finishes.
