Paige Sumblin Schnell
Owner of Tracery, Paige Sumblin Schnell is a celebrated interior designer with a penchant for creating distinctive homes with gracious comfort, timeless elegance and an undeniable contemporary point of view. With an eye for detail and a keen understanding of each client’s desires, Paige brings welcoming and sophisticated spaces to life. She has assembled an impressive portfolio showcased in Veranda, Coastal Living, Better Homes & Gardens, Traditional Home, Southern Living, and House Beautiful. She is the author of Tracery: The Art of Southern Design.
A native of the small South Alabama town of Opp, Paige graduated from Auburn University with a degree in interior architecture. She worked in Atlanta for a number of years before moving to Northwest Florida in 2004 to establish Tracery in Rosemary Beach.
Paige’s body of work is a testament to her signature approach of eschewing any particular style. Each and every Tracery project is executed with passion and personal attention to detail. Respectfully following the precepts of scale and proportion while at times joyfully breaking the rules, Paige creates updated classics, combining forms, materials, textures and tones to form highly personalized environments like an artist might create a three-dimensional collage. Her beautifully arranged spaces, where finishes and furnishings harmonize, effortlessly enhance any gathering of friends and family.
Paige’s endless energy and creativity are evident in several personal home renovations she and her husband Mark, an urban designer, have designed along Scenic 30A.
